BAND SOCIALS & GIVE BACK

Over the years, band groups have informally arranged to meet in a large public area such as Northshore Park for "Bandgiving" during Thanksgiving break. After a hectic season, this is a wonderful time of food, fun and friendship!
Over the years, one way our students enjoy giving back has been by supporting the Montgomery Country Foster System Christmas Toy Drive. (There is usually a little friendly competition between sections, perhaps with a few incentives thrown in too!)
The Band Banquet dinner and dance is a formal occasion; a grand 'end of year' celebration. Directors present awards, the senior scholarships and we enjoy viewing a senior slideshow. This event is optional for students and their families. Information regarding tickets will be made available nearer the time.
